Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival (no meal)
Arrive Ho Chi Minh City at any time, warmly welcome by our representative, transfer to hotel for check in. Free for leisure.
Day 2: Saigon City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
Today you will visit the largest Vietnamese city. There are street markets, sidewalk cafes and sleek new bars. This teeming metropolis offers 300 years of timeless traditions and the beauty of an ancient culture. To the west of the city is the huge Chinese neighborhood called Cho lon, which means "Big Market." Notre Dame Cathedral, in the heart of Saigon\'s government quarter, is of neo- Romanesque architecture with two high square tower and iron spires. The Central Post Office is French-style and City Hall, known as "Hotel de Ville," is typical of the French architecture that would be seen in any village in France. Visit the War Remnants Museum, featuring collections of weapons and photographs from the two Indochina wars. Leave Saigon for Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about Vietnam history & Vietnam War. Return to hotel for free. Stay overnight in HCMC.
Day 3: Excursion to Mekong Delta (B/L)
Enjoy a full-day excursion to My Tho, 75km south of HCMC, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River. The tour comprises a cruise on the Mekong River, a visit to orchards and local homes, a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, a taste of seasonal fruit & honey tea and a performance of traditional southern singing. Lunch of Mekong specialties is arranged. Get back Saigon around 5:00pm. Check in hotel & stay overnight in HCMC.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City-Nha Trang beach City (B)
Own arrangement or explore this city on your own pace before transfer to the airport for Nha Trang Departure. Take a short flight to Cam Ranh. Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Nha Trang, Vietnam’s most charming coastal town with white sandy beaches, fascinating islands and year-round dry weather. Check in & stay overnight in Nha Trang City.
Day 5: Nha Trang (B/L)
Transfer to Cau Da Jetty for a day cruise to Mun Islet. The water is clear and the marine life is diverse for snorkelling and sunbathing. Optional activities such as scuba diving, jet skiing, wind surfing and parasailing on the Islet. Seafood Lunch served on board. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang - Danang City (B/L)
Morning tour to the Po Nagar Towers, the Oceanography Institute and Long Son Pagoda. After lunch, take flight to Danang city. Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Hoian city. Free to relax. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An (B/L)
Hoi An, so called a ‘living Museum City’ because of its well-kept original historical buildings and ancient backstreets. Visit three of the city’s oldest homes, each built over 200 years ago and still occupied by descendants of the families that originally built them; then tour to traditional Hoi An Church and the unique Japanese Bridge. Afternoon transfer to Ruins of My Son to see Cham Holy See. Lunch and Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 8: Hoi An -Tra Que Village - Hue (B/L)
After breakfast, we will join a biking trip to Tra Que Vegetable Village, walk around a vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land, fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake, raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Then spend the rest time to learn how to prepare ‘Tam Huu' spring roll & banh xeo with your host and enjoy lunch with foot massage at the local home. Then return your hotel by bicycle.
In the afternoon, we proceed to Hue via the most monumental pass of Hai Van, view the beautiful scenery from the top of pass and take some photos. On arrival, check in. Free in the afternoon. The evening is highlighted with a Hue folk show on the Perfume River. O/N in Hue.
Day 9: Hue (B/L)
The morning is highlighted with a visit to the Dong Ba Market, famous for its best conical hats in Vietnam, and the Imperial Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with geomancy. A performance of ancient dancing and court music, a world intangible heritage recognised by UNESCO in 2003, is presented in the citadel (optional). In the afternoon, the tour focuses on the tombs of King Tu Duc (ruled 1848 – 1883) and King Khai Dinh (ruled 1916 - 1925). The monuments, designed by the kings themselves, were also used as holiday retreats during their lifetime. Proceed to Thien Mu Pagoda to attend the afternoon service. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue – Hanoi – night train to Lao Cai (B/L)
Take morning flight to Hanoi the morning. Transfer to the city and the city tour continued with visits to West Lake, Lake Hoan Kiem, Temple of Literature. Cyclo tour (1 hour) to the old quarters of Hanoi and local markets. Evening enjoy the famous Water Puppet Show (1st class seats).Evening catch the train (A/C, 4- berth cabin) to Lao Cai (Sa Pa). O/N on train.
Day 11: Lao Cai - Sapa (B/L)
Arrive Lao Cai in the early morning, and travel to Sa Pa for hotel early check in. Enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way. After breakfast at the hotel, start to visit Sa Pa town, and trek to Cat Cat Village, the home of the H’mong minority. Enjoy some visits to local families and see their customs. After the village down into the valley and the Cat Cat waterfall will be visible. Late afternoon, drive back to Sa Pa. O/N in Sa Pa.
Day 12: Sapa – Lao Cai – night train to Hanoi (B/L)
Located at 80km from Sa Pa. The Bac Ha market (available every Sunday only) is the largest one of these hill regions. The market day is a weekly event, attended by ethnic groups, such as the flowery H’mongs, ethnic people comes there to exchange their products they bring on horse back. You will be surrounded and leaded in the multicolor crowd of people in traditional costume and especially by beautiful women, wearing dresses with bright colored embroidery and solid silver jewelry. Lunch at Bac Ha, we continue our visit to the surrounding region and drive back to Lao Cai train station to catch a night train back to Hanoi. O/N on the train.
Day 13: Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B/L)
Early morning arrival Hanoi, then transfer to Hoa Lu, the old capital of Vietnam. Check in hotel and have a breakfast, then visiting the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel, enjoy a relaxing ride on small sampans on the river as we paddle through winding rivers cutting through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves or better known as “Dry Halong Bay”. O/N in Hoa Lu
Day 14: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay (B/L)
This morning coach to Ha long via Hai Phong City. On the way stop for photo and see the daily life of the North Vietnamese. Arrival Halong check in hotel and relax. O/N in Ha long
Day 15: Halong Bay Cruise (B/L/D)
In the morning, transfer to graceful Ha Long City located on Ha Long bay. After arriving, board the boat for the cruise of Ha Long Bay, a World Natural Heritage site. One day and one night trip brings you through thousands of islets, some wonderful grottos and caves.
Passing many rocks and islets in shape of Dog, Incense, Fighting-cock, Finger, Hoa Cuong etc and visit Surprise cave and short swim at Titov beach, kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package), if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing and later over night on board.
Day 16: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, continue the cruise to visit Man’s head island, Tortoise Island, Trinh Nu caves, Bai Tu Long bay. Lunch is served on boat with sea food. In the afternoon, transfer to Hanoi via Hai Duong City. O/N in Hanoi.
Day 17: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau (B/L/D)
Depart at 7.00 am from your hotel to Mai Chau (150km from Hanoi) It takes around 4 hours drive with stops on the way to take pictures. Arriving in Mai Chau, check in to your homestay. Relax and have lunch there.
In the afternoon, you will visit Pom Coong and Lac village of White Thai ethnic minority people. Return to the village for dinner and overnight.
Day 18: Mai Chau – Tu Ne – Hanoi (B/L)
Leave the beautiful valley in the morning, we process to Tu Ne, Tan Lac district (on the way back to Hanoi) as new “destination” for charity – lovers. Here at this commune, our visits can help the locals a lot to improve their life standard and acknowledgement. Visit a school to play with children before accessing to their home village. You will be welcomed and hosted by villagers (most are Muong Minority Peapole), learn about their life, habits and tradition. Walk through the villages to visit the Cave and Lake before enjoying the lunch-at –home with Muong’s Traditional dance. Return back to Hanoi after lunch time
19: Hanoi Departure (B)
Free time for lat minute shopping before transferring to the airport for your flight back home. Finish your unforgettable Trip in Vietnam!
