ITINERARY: Ho Chi Minh City- Mekong Delta – Cu Chi – Tay Ninh -Dalat – Nha Trang – Danang -Hoian – Hue – Hanoi – Halong Bay
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival
Arrive Tan Son Nhat airport and greeted by our representative, then transfer to your hotel in the center of city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 2: Full Day in HCMC (B/L)
Visit the former Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Cholon (Chinatown), drive past Binh Tay Wholesale Market and visit Thien Hau Pagoda. After stopping at Ben Thanh Market for some shopping, the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L)
This trip provides a look at a wide variety of the life and scenery of the Delta. On the way you can see green rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. After arrival in Cai Be, a boat takes you to the floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. Lunch at Ancient garden house then proceeding to Vinh Long, passing small and beautiful canal see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. Stop at An Binh islet famous for their fruit orchards. We will enjoy the local tropical fruits and see how local people cultivate their orchards, make their living from ceramics, popcorn and rice paper... A nice chance for bicycle riding, roaming through the village and looking at the local handicraft shops. A stop will be landed on Vinh Long market a nice walk around. Continue driving to Can Tho. Over night in Can Tho.
Day 4: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat, we will see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill factory. Disembark at Ninh Kieu quay then visit an ancient house in Binh Thuy 10 km from Cantho city and Cantho Museum. Lunch at local restaurant on the way back to Sai Gon via My Tho. Overnight in Hochiminh.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi (B/L)
Explore the famous Cu Chi Tunnels and Tay Ninh, where we experience the midday service at the head temple of the unique Cao Dai religion before returning to HCMC.
Day 6: Ho Chi Minh city –Dalat (B/L)
This morning take a short flight to Dalat. After check-in at hotel, visit Xuan Huong Lake, Minh Tam Flower Garden and Central Market. Overnight in Da Lat.
Day 7: Dalat (B)
Today we visit Lat Village, where numerous ethnic groups live and the Lake of Sighs.
Day 8: Dalat to Nha Trang (B/L)
Land travel to Nha Trang today where upon arrival we cruise around the islands visiting the Tri Nguyen Aquarium, Mun Island and a local fishing village.
Day 9: Nha Trang - Hoi An (B/L)
Leaving Nha Trang on the first flight to Danang. Pick up and enjoy short visit to Cham Museum, and Marble Mountains before reaching Hoian City.
Days 10: Hoi An (B/L)
Enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An. Visit an old merchant’s home, still lived in by descendents of the original merchant, the Japanese Bridge, Hoi An Market, a local Chinese pagoda and assembly hall. Rest of the day is free for visit the tailors and soak up the charming atmosphere of Hoi An at one of the many riverside cafes along the Thu Bon River.
Day 11: Hoi An to Hue (B/D)
Leaving Hoi An we visit the moving to Hue via the Hai Van Pass. Take a cyclo ride to the Imperial Citadel, continue by coach to Thien Mu Pagoda and enjoy a boat trip on the Perfume River. This evening participate in a cooking class focusing on select local dishes and cuisine.
Day 12: Hue to Hanoi (B/D)
Today we visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh Royal tombs, before flying to Hanoi. This evening enjoy a performance of the famous Water Puppets, a specialty of the north. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 13: Full Day in Hanoi (B/L)
Our city tour today includes a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec and every Mon & Fri), Stilt House and Museum, One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. Drive around Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy a walking tour of the old quarter and its markets.
Day 14: Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D)
Early arrival in Hanoi and check in subhotel for fresh up and breakfast. 08:30am picked up and transfer directly to Ha Long bay. After 03 hours and a half drive we arrive in Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. Passing many rocks and islets in shape of Dog, Incense, Fighting-cock, Finger, Hoa Cuong etc and visit Surprise cave and short swim at Titov beach, kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package), if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing and later over night on board.
Day 15: Ha Long bay - Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, cruising to Bai Tu long bay, pass by several rocks, islets and fishing villages, then moving toward Halong City for disembarking before 12.00 noon. Car pick up and drive you toward Hanoi, stop on the way for 2 hours visit a special place in Bac Ninh, the cradle of Vietnamese folklore music in Red River Delta.
We take a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit Dinh Bang Communal House & Do Temple which is worship place of 8 (eight) kings of Ly Dynasty (1010-1225). After that you will be invited to enjoy Quan Ho folk songs (duo of love songs) performed by local artists and singers. Drive back to Hanoi for overnight stay.
Day 16: Depart Hanoi (B)
Free for last minute shopping before departure flight back home. End of service.
