The Club of the World’s Best Bays (Worldbays) has recognised Lang Co Bay in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue as one of the world’s most beautiful bays, said Worldbays’ Secretary General Bruno Borda.
A best bay title granting ceremony will be held on May 15 at the International Conference on the World’s Most Beautiful Bays in Setubal, Portugal.
Lang Co is the third bay in Vietnam, after Ha Long and Nha Trang, honoured by Worldbays as one of the 30 best bays in the whole world.
Besides Lang Co, Pemba in Mozambique and Cartegena in Colombia will also receive the title this May.
Worldbays’ Bruno Borda announced that the 2010 International Conference on the World’s Best Bays will take place in the coastal province of Quang Ninh, Vietnam.
